Overland Carts are ready to make spring fun!

Overland Carts have been making landscape jobs easier since their introduction in 2008!  The carts are easy to use but don’t let that fool you, they are a complete powerhouse.  Built on an all steel chassis, the carts feature a powerful electric motor capable of moving a 750 pound load.  Simply twist the throttle and drive away everything from mulch to landscape bricks.

Here are the top 5 reasons to enjoy an Overland Cart this spring

1.  Overland Carts are incredibly easy to use

Overland Carts have been developed over the last 8 years to provide the best user experience on the market.  The cart starts by pulling out the red quick stop, the lights come to life to show that cart is ready to go.  Simply select the direction you would like to to go and twist the throttle.  The cart has a built in feature called SmoothStart that provides controlled starts each time.  This provides an intuitive feel and helps control the power of the cart.  Once the cart is moving, it quickly reaches a top speed of about 3 MPH, or a brisk walk.  It will keep that speed up, even under a full load of 750 pounds.  If the throttle is released, the cart quickly rolls to a safe stop and the wheels automatically lock in place.  The throttle is variable based on user input, this allows for complete control of the cart. The cart also pivots in a 360 degree circle without power being applied, this makes maneuvering in tight spaces a breeze.

2.  Overland Carts are much safer than traditional wheelbarrows

Safety is a priority for all our customer and it is something that we value greatly as a company.  There are numerous safety features built into the electric cart such as HillSense and AutoStop that provide additional control to the user.  HillSense is a throttle technology that allows the user to control the speed of the cart at all times, whether on an decline or decline.  AutoStop is a feature that automatically locks the cart in place when the throttle is not being applied.  This works on a flat surface or an incline, allowing for maximum safety when loading or unloading the power cart.  Overland Carts feature a very sturdy 4 wheel design with two front drive wheels and 2 rear flat free swivel wheels.  This provides improved stability when compared to a traditional wheelbarrow.  Even with 750 pounds, the Overland powered wheelbarrow feels rock solid and is not easily tipped to either side.  If there is a situation that requires the cart to stop immediately there is a red quick stop switch on the handlebars to kill power.

3.  Overland Carts are all made in the USA

Overland takes great pride in the construction of each wheelbarrow.   Every powered cart is hand built in Archbold, Ohio by an Overland Cart professional.  The steel chassis is formed, welded, and powder coated in house to ensure the highest quality control.  Each component that goes into the Overland Cart has been sourced from the best suppliers available.  The Brentwood buckets come from Illinois and are featured on our commercial line of wheelbarrows.  They are widely considered the best buckets in the wheelbarrow industry.  Crafted from high quality HDPE plastic these buckets stand up to tough conditions.  The buckets clean up quickly and easily with a pressure washer.  All service and support for the carts comes from Archbold, Ohio and we work to ensure that every customer is taken care of completely.  If there is ever an issue with the cart, getting replacement parts is never a problem because we source everything at one location.

4.  Overland Carts bring customers happiness, not back problems

Overland Carts have been delivering happiness to customer since the first cart rolled off the line in 2008.  There are plenty of reviews from customers that enjoy their carts every day.  You can read them here.  We love to hear the new ways customers are using our carts.  There are many stories from customers in which they are thankful for the carts because it allows them to work outside again.  There is no longer the strain on backs and joints that comes from pushing a traditional wheelbarrow.  The design of the powered wheelbarrow even makes dumping the cart easier.  Overland has ideally positioned the hopper above the drive wheels allowing the cart to be dumped with minimal effort.   Gravity does most of the work.  Overland even offers a power dump electric wheelbarrow that allows the cart to be dumped via a switch.  All of these features come together into a cart that makes outdoor work fun with less muscle and joint strain.

5.  Overland Carts get more work done, faster.

Overland speeds up every job while minimizing fatigue.  Each Overland Powered Cart is capable of hauling up to 750 pounds.  That is the equivalent to fifteen 50 pound bags of concrete.  The hopper sizes range from six cubic feet and ten cubic feet.  A ten cubic foot hopper can be filled to the brim with moist top soil and still be easily moved.  This provides all sorts of possibilities to get more jobs done quicker.  The strain of 750 pounds is put on the cart, not on the actual user of the cart.  The cart’s simple operation makes it safe even for children to help.  The standard battery pack will run all day (6-8 hours) and can be safely charged overnight.  Overland also offers an extended range battery pack for even longer run times (9-13 hours).
